What was it like for the Mennonite community during the social and political upheaval in Russia during 1913-1923?
This work of fiction, in print for the first time in 40 years, blends both personal experience from the author and stories from other first-hand accounts. Gerhard Lohrenz (1899-1986) was a leader in the Manitoban Mennonite community, serving as Principal of the Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute and later pastoring the Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church.
All net proceeds from this book go towards the Gerhard Lohrenz Publication Foundation, which provides funding for Mennonite historical research.
